We aim to keep the website lightweight and avoid unnecessary tracking. This explains what is currently intentionally built into our site and what needs checking when services change.
What cookies are
Cookies are small items of information that a website or service can store on your device. Related technology such as local storage and SDK identifiers can be covered by similar privacy rules. Some are strictly necessary; others, including most analytics and marketing cookies, usually require a visitor's choice.
Essential functionality
Our hosting, networking and security services may use temporary identifiers and technical storage to deliver requests, reduce abuse or maintain infrastructure. These functions can be essential for the service requested and generally do not require optional marketing consent.
We do not currently intentionally install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising cookies in the website source reviewed for this policy. That is not a guarantee that every provider or browser sets no cookies.
Nexi voice and text
Nexi's on-page interface keeps recent conversation state in the current browser session in application memory. Starting a live voice or text conversation sends requests to Vapi and associated technology providers. Those providers may use service identifiers, logs or storage necessary to connect and secure the conversation.
If you do not want to use Nexi, you can simply browse the rest of the site and contact us by ordinary email.
Optional analytics and marketing
We have not implemented a non-essential advertising or analytics tracking choice in this release. If we introduce optional tracking, we will review provider cookie inventories and add a suitable consent mechanism before setting non-essential cookies, where required by UK PECR.
If you notice unexpected tracking, tell us so we can investigate the relevant scripts and provider settings.
Control and further information
You can manage or remove cookies through your browser's settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect the website or voice feature. When non-essential cookies are introduced, this page will explain their purpose, provider and duration and how to change your choices.
Questions about cookies or device storage can be sent to info@smartedgedigital.co.uk.
